Scope: Concrete demolition, cutting, and surface preparation works.

Construction began at the site in early June 2024 with foundations and the structural frame phase. The frame was executed as a full precast element structure, with only the civil defense shelter cast in place.

The two-story building has space for four daycare groups on each floor. Additionally, the daycare includes a multipurpose hall and a distribution kitchen. The daycare features a masonry facade. The goal was to create a cozy, creative, and playful daycare, but also a learning-promoting and safe environment for both children and staff. The daycare serves a total of 150 children and approximately 30 staff members.

We participated in the concrete surface treatment and finishing works for the new Kairiskulma daycare. This two-story building serves eight daycare groups and is designed to withstand heavy use while meeting high aesthetic requirements.

For the concrete surface treatment, we carried out the following work phases at the site: Concrete surface shotcrete works to achieve the required surface class; Diamond grinding for leveling and finishing surfaces; Diamond drilling and sawing for structural penetrations and openings.

Mechanical polishing of visible raw concrete surfaces. The work particularly considered surface wear resistance, uniform visual appearance, and the site's schedule requirements.
