Turku Music Centre Fuuga

The new Turku Music Centre Fuuga will form an inspiring new link in the chain of vibrant cultural sites on the banks of the Aura River in central Turku, Finland. In addition to providing a new home with world-class acoustics for the Turku Philharmonic Orchestra, the Music centre will be an accessible and inviting cultural venue that encourages encounters, communication and new forms of interaction between diverse user groups throughout the day.

Concrete structures and surface works

We participated in the concrete structure treatment and finishing works at the site. Our tasks included:

• Grinding floors and walls to achieve a smooth and finished surface
• Chipping and demolition works for structural modifications and space adjustments
• Channel cutting for building services installations
• Concrete repairs to strengthen damaged or worn areas
• Polishing of surfaces for aesthetic finishing of exposed concrete
• Cleaning and finishing of columns as architecturally visible structural elements

All work was carried out according to precise plans and quality requirements, with attention to dimensional accuracy, durability, and the visual and acoustic demands of the project.
